Dancing brings joy and connection to Citabria’s life, and she wants to share that with others.  

Citabria grew up in Austin, Texas –watching her parents dance, and she could not have been more bored.

Many years later, she worked up the courage to go by herself to a Friday night women’s Two Stepping dance. There she fell in love with dance, and it all snowballed from there. 

She became infatuated with Lindy Hop, West Coast Swing, Salsa and other night club dances, and then found her way to Ballroom. She has studied extensively through the Ballroom Teacher’s College at the Metronome Ballroom in SF, where she learned both the leader’s and follower’s parts of many, many dances, and also how to be an inspiring teacher and coach.

Citabria has also competed locally and internationally with much success, as both a leader and a follower, including several wins with various partners as North American Champions in Women’s International Standard.
